The AI-2 is an extremely flexible and powerful interface device for the ALESIS ADAT 8-track digital audio tape recorder. The AI-2 is designed and manufactured for ALESIS by TimeLine, the world leader in machine control and synchronization systems. The AI-2 provides a universal ADAT control interface allowing a bank of ADAT recorders to be controlled from a video editor, a tape machine synchronizer system or in time code chase. The AI-2 supports four primary input control and two output control modes. The input control modes provide an interface to external controllers, while the output modes allow control of up to 16 ADAT recorders, with or without the Alesis BRC Remote Control. |

People in show business know the value of a microphone. Often the success of a performance hinges on the quality of the acoustical equipment used. To satisfy their exacting demands, BEYER engineers shed no time and effort. The result: the M320 Dynamic Ribbon Microphone. Wide frequency response and extreme front to back discrimination are only 2 of the features which make this microphone valuable to the discriminating user. Elastic suspension of the magnetic system guarantees immunity to mechanical noise. A joint between mike housing and floor stand lets you move the microphone toward the sound source. The rise in bass response encountered in use at close range is compensated by a “Voice-Music” selector switch. At 50 Hertz the loss in bass is leveled by approx. 15 db. This selector is combined with an ON-OFF switch. |
